Fully booked: Way to Wheel – backbend & meditation course

Backbends are very healthy for our spine and our health. Especially when we spend a lot of time sitting. With backbends we strengthen the whole back. We improve our posture and can even get rid of chronic back pain.

This new course focuses on backbends, twists & meditation. We stretch and strengthen the body and work our way step by step to Wheel Pose (Urdhva Dhanurasana). We will also end the classes with a meditation practice and I will introduce you to breathing techniques.

After this yoga class :

  • you’ll know how to do backbends safely and pain-free.
  • you’ll know how to use backbends to give you more energy in everyday life
  • you will reduce stress and anxiety
  • you’ll have a stronger back and know how to work on your back strength
  • you know new Yoga peak poses (see below)

 

The course is aimed at:

  • all levels (little Yoga experience is an advantage)
  • all who want to strengthen their back and improve their posture
  • all who want to dive deeper into the meditation practice and learn new breathing techniques

 

About this course

Each class lasts 75 minutes. We flow through a vinyasa flow that prepares you for the backbends. The class ends with meditation and pranayama. Thursdays from 19 to 20:15. A total of 6 times on the following dates (the peak pose in brackets):
